Hunting

The Montana non-resident big game license includes one elk, one deer, fishing, and upland game birds. Approximately 17,000 licenses will be available by a drawing and must be applied for by March 15.

Moose and goat permits must be applied for by May 1.

General Season Hunts

Season runs October 24 thru November 29

Our seven day hunts pack in six miles to our Big Creek Camp which is excellent for elk, deer, mountain goat, and moose.

Hunt 1: October 23 - 30

Hunt 2: November 1 - 7

Hunt 3: November 8 - 14

Hunt 4: November 15 - 21

Rates are $5,100 per person for seven days.

Archery Hunts

Season opens September 5

Our pre-gun season archery hunts are conducted in the same area with the same facilities and services as our general season hunts. Archery season opens September 5.

Hunt 1: September 5 - 11

Hunt 2: September 13 - 19

Rates are $5,100 per person for seven days.

The above hunts will have cook tents, sleeping tents with wood stoves, excellent food, a camp cook, one guide for each two hunters, and gentle horses. Meat will be packed out to your vehicle or to a processing plant.

Our camps are authorized under a special use permit by the Custer Gallatin National Forest.

Goat or Moose Hunts

Season starts September 15

We have fantastic mountain goat hunting in both our elk areas.  Goat and moose permits are on a drawing and must be applied for by May 1.

 

These hunts are on a trophy hunt basis with one guide per hunter, a cook, tents, horses, etc.  There will be a maximum of two hunters per hunt.

Rates are $6,300 per person for seven days
