2012 Hunting Details

4. Early Bugle Rifle Hunts

We pack in 16 miles into the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness Area to our Grizzly Creek Camp for two 8-day hunts starting September 14 and 23.  This area is open for either sex elk, deer, mountain goat, black bear, and moose.  Fishing is good at nearby Carpenter Lake and Grizzly Creek.
 
Rates are $3600 per person.

5. General Season Hunts

Our 7 day hunts pack in 6 miles to our Big Creek Camp and start October  19, October 28, November 4, November 11 and November 18, 2012. This area is excellent for elk, deer, mountain goat, and moose. 
 
Rates are $3150 per person.

6. Archery Hunts

Our pre-gun season archery hunts are conducted in the same area with the same facilities and services as our general season hunts. Archery season opens September 1 and closes October 14.  
 
Rates are $3150 per person for 7 days.

The above hunts (4, 5 and 6) will have cook tents, sleeping tents with wood stoves, excellent food, a camp cook, 1 guide for each 2 hunters and gentle horses. Meat will be packed out to your vehicle or to a processing plant.

 

 
7. Spike Camps - Gun or Archery

These hunts are conducted from tent camps equipped to handle 4 to 6 hunters in a group.  The areas hunted are in the high, remote portions of our general season hunting area.  We furnish food, one guide/packer and all camping equipment.  Gun season starts October 19 and closes November 25.  Archery season opens September 1 and closes October 14.  You will need an $8 archery stamp in addition to your big game license.  

Rates for a 7-day hunt for a group of 4 hunters start at $8100 for the camp.
